  4. ~wIn the Information Harvesting System estimates are made by 
  5. rules.  ~
  6. A row of data, such as created on the estimation screen, is matched ~
  7. against each rule in succession until a rule fires.  ~
  8. When a rule fires on the pattern of the data row, then the estimated ~
  9. value corresponding to that rule is assigned to the prediction, or ~
  10. dependent variable.  The fact that several previous rules did not ~
  11. fire contributes information to the importance of a rule firing.~
